Laughter is the Best Medicine

Black sabbath-War Pigs (lyrics)

Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of death’s construction In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds Oh lord yeah! Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war Why should they go out to fight? They leave that role to the poor Yeah! Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait till their judgment day comes Yeah! Now in darkness world stops turning
Ashes where the bodies burning No more war pigs have the power
Hand of God has struck the hour Day of judgment, God is calling
On their knees the war pig’s crawling Begging mercy for their sins
Satan laughing spreads his wings Oh lord yeah!

  5. Asshole idiot's, you don't have to ask: ''Who's still listening in 2019'', fucking greatness never dies, we don't need no gat damn census you fucktard's!

  6. Classic music was not Tchaikovsky. It was not Beethoven. This is Classic music. Neither one of those 2 had a lead guitarist , like Tony Iommi. .

  7. A.J. Abdullah I have been listening to it since it came out…and much more since then…..they were the pioneers to metal…often imitated NEVER replicated

  8. I had a Drill Sergeant make this song into a running cadence in basic training. (His Platoon was also called war pigs!)

  9. I just regret not somehow playing this at my 8th grade graduation party. The God-damned Beatles were #1 with stupid "Hey Jude". Crap song….

  10. Great song. Doesn't get enough credit for the drum track it's amazing and a great song for drummers to learn.

  11. My dad is dead now. He was a true asshole, although he did love me. My favorite thing about our relationship was heavy metal. First song I ever heard was from Metallica. I grew up on them, iron maiden, Sabbath. I'll forever be grateful for that fact.

  12. I always loves Tony Iommi. His guitar is neither sophisticated nor outstanding, but it gives Sabbath's music such a drive and helped creating the Metal music! If this guy wouldn't have chopped off his finger tips, we would probably never be able to enjoy such great music.

  13. Also pretty amazing is the fact that Tony Iommi has been playing guitar for Black Sabbath since 1969, and in 1965 at the age of seventeen, he lost the tips of his middle and ring fingers of his fretting hand (right hand) in a sheet metal factory accident. He crafted thimble-like plastic and leather fingertips and adjusted his playing style, doing most of the string bends with his index finger and pinky, since he could not feel the strings with his damaged fingers.

  15. So far ahead of its time
    Lyrically instrumentally
    And vocally
Thanks ozzy for having the incredible talent to make this a masterpiece
And to sabbath for the balls to do it

  16. Ah yes, memories of weekend drives through wine country with my best girl Penelope Daisy Winthorpe, listening to the romantic sounds of Electric Funeral and Rat Salad….

  18. Biblical connotations. So i guess this is as good a place as any for this. I asked God to show me He exists. I then unwittingly opened a 110yr old copy of The Lesser Key of Solomon(google). He proved Himself in a horrific way. Turns out demons and Hell are a fact. So is Jesus. It was months of physical and psychological torment which left marks on my body in perfect geometric shapes. Followed by complete demonic possession by a deity named Baal. I was finally delivered from it after promising Christ to do whatever He wanted. It very nearly killed me. Its all very real. I can explain this experience in detail if you are interested?

  19. Black metal heads if you see this please smash something for me where ever you are and let the world know we still exist.

  20. i love this song it's a master piece but no more war make the world at peace again but that will never happen as long the devil lives until judgement day!!!!!!!! the devil is alway's in the detail's!!!!!!
