How to Repair Cracked or Peeling Paint – Dutch Boy Paints

Repairing Cracked or Peeling Paint Cracked or peeling paint can be a common
occurrence, especially on window sills and trim, and if you just paint over it
you won’t address the problem. The best simple solution for
cracked or peeling paint is to first use a paint scraper and sandpaper to
remove any loose or peeling paint. Be sure to sand the edges to smooth the
surface and help the new paint adhere. Then scrub the area with a mild
detergent with a sponge or rag. Rinse well and let it dry. Spot priming will help the new paint
adhere and give a better finished look.

  1. Sand every bit of old paint off and put a skim coat on, prime & paint. No matter what you do, you'll be able to see where the old paint had come off.

  2. Videos from Dutch Boy Paints will result in people needing to get an expert in to redo it. Maybe that's their dastardly plan.

  3. Lol I wanna kill myself!!!!!
