  1. I truly doesn’t know when I see the shining I don’t remember name as Jack Nicholson so I say let search his horror as I got it goin on now on 525 HBO PLUS

  2. Jack breaks a door with an axe in almost a minute
But Michael Myers just walks and breaks the whole door in a few seconds…

  3. h͚̖̜̍̃͐e̮̟͈̣̖̰̩̹͈̾ͨ̑͑a̘̫͈̭͌͛͌̇̇̍r̼̯̤̈ͭ̃ͨ̆s̪̭̱̼̼̉̈́ͪ͋̽̚ j͇̗̲̞̪̹̝̫̞ͬ͐̀ͧ̿o͎̜̓̇ͫ̉͊ͨ͊n͉̠̙͉̗̺̋̋̔ͧ̊n͉̠̙͉̗̺̋̋̔ͧ̊y͉̝͖̻̯ͮ̒̂ͮ͋ͫͨ

  4. My father was a drinker, and a fiend. One night he goes off crazier than usual, mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself, he doesn't like that, not one BIT. Jack Torrance is joker's father

  5. If anyone didn't know…
Jack Nicholson worked as a firefighter, broke down doors for a living. So for this scene, the directors had to make him break the door down like 40 times. That's why he looks tired. (Edit: This WAS a real door)

  6. And to think that "Here's Johnny!" My favorite one Liner, is improvised by Nicholson himself! I'm glad they kept it in the movie!

  7. Why do adults in the horror movies always not use their IQ I swear the kids are smarter than them what’s next The babies gonna be smarter than all of them this is exactly Why Black people die in horror movies first and I no these people are smart but why are they acting like they aren’t it’s like in Jason the guy just bring one bullet when somebody is calling for help you don’t bring one bullet

  8. To everyone saying the killer isn't scary, the movie is about a haunted hotel, so of course the guy who loses his kind due to the hotel isn't what makes this movie scary.

  9. When this was in theatres, this was a terrifying scene. But when he says, "Here's Johnny!", the audience started laughing. That was something Stephen King was absolutely furious about. The line Kubrick added might be temporarily funny, but this is still one darn scary scene.

  10. The scene where Jack is walking up the stairs after Wendy (when she has the bat) was apparently filmed over 110 times before Stanley Kubrick thought they both did good enough

Stanley is insane in that way

  11. 1:26 was when my Teacher said we dont have homework at the beginning of the day but then we leave with a folder filled with homework
